Everyday blooms with an interesting opportunity, this thought makes my day more energetic. I am Dr. K. Suganya who come from a simple/middle class family where my parents initially identified my potential and delivered me all available opportunities and with many hardships made me a doctor by profession. They had sown the seed of service & Compassion within me from my childhood. I being a keen observer and a passionate learner wanted to take a different path in my journey life. Rather than earning money & settling down with luxury and wealth I wanted to take up a worthful job of embracing the people of old age. When it comes to care of senior citizens the first name which struck me was Dr. V. S. Natarajan sir a living inspiration in front of me. By following his way, I took up a continuing education in geriatric medicine in my learning process, I could feel the real time inabilities, insecurity & difficulties which the people of old age undergo. Although it had no recovery, management of their difficulties can be made possible. So I strongly worked on my thought of raising a well-equipped seniors home. I wanted to bring in a personal touch of balancing their mental & physical health. I wanted to recreate a lively environment by engaging them with many books, olden golden games, interesting activities, all together I wanted to celebrate their old age in all possible ways. I wanted this home to cater them with all essentials, like a fresh & clean environment, a balanced food, medical assistance and all facilities under one roof.

It sounded interesting when it was a thought but execution was the biggest challenge. I had so many forms of difficulties to overcome for which my parents and husband stood as an enormous pillar beside and made me move swiftly towards attaining my goal. I feel very proud and thankful to my family. With so much of hardships we as a family made this project “ Vishwa Raksha Seniors Home” a place of life and home for many senior citizens. I feel happy that I could make this senior home at my native Courtallam a place of Peace & Untouched nature.he suggestions & support.So,nothing is impossible if we put our Heart & Soul into it,So we should chase our dreams to lighten our future and we rise by lifting others.
